Review: Lexmark 7200 color ink jet printer

The following is a table of our feelings on each print out. There are two columns for Lexmark (4 color CMYK and 6 color CcMmYK) and one for Epson. The color coding for image quality is as follows red highest, blue middle, and black lowest.*  All prints were done at the default / auto settings of the driver. No attempt was made to tune either printer beyond this point.

*Some printing time variations may possibly be due to the caching scheme of Windows NT.
**note the Epson 800 would not print the Pagemaker image at all under our configuration. I finally gave up trying after 3 hours of attempting to make it work.
*** the Epson 800 prints only in lower resolution with plain paper selected. Thus the significant speed difference, and possibly why ranked lowest in this category.
