My friend Pastor John Kinsilla
crossed over to the other side this week. I wish that all of you could
have heard him praise the Lord. I always said that no one worships the
Lord like John. Somehow, he was able to sweep together all the passions
of his Chamorro innerman and bring them forth in song. There are just
no words to describe how his whole being would reverberate with His fervent
love for His Savior – and he shared that intensity with all those
who were in the room.
The day John died, he was learning a new song called, “No More Nights.” He had just preached Feb. 23 from Ps. 116, “Blessed and precious (important and of no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones). … I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving and will call on the name of the Lord” (Ps. 116:15-17). Shalom – island missionary, teacher, preacher, pastor, principal, worshipper, encourager, father, friend, and one who laughs and brings joy. Oh, how we miss you already and rejoice knowing that
you are There…. already. REVEREND JOHN ANTHONY KINSELLA |
